Here's what we'll be doing during our weekend.
Friday
Registration and Keynote Address
Trinity Episcopal Church, 218 E. Benton St. Aurora, IL
5:30-6:30 pm
Get registered and meet your fellow particpants and faculty. Snacks and soft drinks will be provided.
6:30-7:30 pm
Our keynote will feature a well-published author who will read from their work, speak on the topic of "Why Write?" and have a conversation with Kristin LaTour before answering questions from the floor.
Saturday
Morning Small Group Session
Santori Branch, Aurora Public Library, 101 S. River St, Aurora, IL
10:00 am- noon
You'll meet at the Santori Library with your faculty member and small group for the morning session of your course.
Lunch Break
Where you wish
noon - 2:00 pm
You can bring a lunch and settle in a park or along the river, or visit any of the number of dining establishments in downtown Aurora.
Afternoon Small Group Session

2:00 - 4:00 pm
You'll meet again with your faculty member and small group for the afternoon session of your course.
Group Dinner and Faculty Reading
Two Brother's Roundhouse, 205 N. Broadway, Aurora, IL
5:00-5:30
Get a drink, share an appetizer, and get settled in.
5:30 - 6:30
Faculty reading. Each faculty member will read from their work.
6:30 - ?
Dinner! Order what you like from the menu. Socialize and enjoy!
Sunday
Large Group Generative Writing Activity and Participant Open Mic
Aurora Historical Society, 3rd floor art gallery, 20 E. Downer Pl., Aurora, IL
9:00 am - 9:30 am
Continental Breakfast
9:30 am - 10:15 am
A fun, interactive large group writing activity lead by Kristin LaTour.
10:15 am - 11:30 am
Open mic for any participants who want to join in. Depending on how many people sign up, each reader will have 3-5 minutes to read.
